Good morning!
Let's face it, as shown by your feedbacks: we hoped to get much more attention from across the Atlantic, and thanks to this, way more pledgers.
It was not a prayerful hope; lots of thing have been tried.
Some of you may have guessed. And maybe many have, or have hoped that to happen. Some others probably asked the question.
So here is our confession: a DEFCON 1Deluxe pledge is ready from the start, waiting for its time to come, lurking in the shadows...
So, more than ever, we need you, all of you!
Indeed, if each backer would manage to reach 1 person, if each backer would manage to convince that person of the highly playful and cultural interest of this project, then we would be able to approach a thousand backers, then we would probably be able to unveil that Deluxe pledge!
This clearly is far more easily asked than done, we are acutely aware of this. But after all, it is a matter of renewal with the crowdfunding spirit, which is different from a purchase, it is almost a militant act. Indeed, supporting an independent publisher with an original project, nowadays, this is significant. Without the exposure provided by a crowdfunding campaign, DEFCON 1 would have almost no chance to be published...

Nous n'allons pas nous mentir et vos retours confortent ce sentiment : nous espérions une souscription plus ouverte outre-atlantique avec, à la clé, un nombre de souscripteurs bien plus important.
Ce n'était pas un espoir pieux, car beaucoup de choses ont été tentées.
Certains d'entre vous s'en doutent. Beaucoup peut-être, l'espèrent. D'autres enfin, se posent probablement la question.
Alors voilà, nous vous le confessons : une souscription Deluxe de DEFCON 1 est prête depuis le début, elle attend son heure, tapie dans l'ombre...
Donc, plus que jamais, nous avons de besoin de chacun d'entre-vous !
En effet, si chacun parvenait à toucher 1 personne, si chacun parvenait a convaincre cette personne de l'intérêt hautement ludique et culturel du projet.... Alors nous pourrions flirter avec le millier de souscripteurs, alors nous pourrions probablement dévoiler la souscription Deluxe !
C'est sans doute bien plus facile à demander qu'à faire, nous en avons pleinement conscience. Mais après tout, il s'agit de renouer avec l'esprit du financement participatif qui, à la différence d'un achat, est presque un acte militant. En effet, soutenir un éditeur indépendant sur un projet original, par les temps qui courent, ce n'est pas rien. Sans la visibilité qu'apporte, en outre, ce type de financement, DEFCON 1 n'aurait quasiment aucune chance de voir le jour...

Bonjour,
🔺 Le 10e palier a été franchi et il ajoute 2 meeples qui remplacent les pions Phase de jeu et Course à l'espace. Le meeple Phase est inspiré de la station d'écoute américaine Teufelsberg placée sur une colline artificielle. Cette station avait pour mission d'intercepter les communications de la RDA et de l'URSS. Le meeple Course à l'espace est inspiré du premier satellite artificiel envoyé par l'homme le 4 octobre 1957, le très célèbre satellite soviétique Spoutnik.
🔺 Le palier social a été franchi : chaque bloc gagne donc 1 carte Mission supplémentaire, en rapport avec des territoires éloignés du centre des blocs : le Pérou, le Mozambique, l'Antarctique... Ces cartes entrent dans le Pack d'extension Deep Dive offert aux souscripteurs !
🔺 The 10th stretch goal has been unlocked and adds 2 meeples which replace the Phase counter and the Space race counter.
The Phase counter is inspired by the American Teufelsberg interception station placed on an artificial hill. This station's mission was to intercept the communications of the GDR and the USSR. The Space Race counter is inspired by the first artificial satellite sent by man on October 4, 1957, the Soviet satellite Sputnik.
🔺 The stretch goal has been unlocked: every bloc gets 1 additional Mission card concerning territories far away from the heart of the blocs: Peru, Mozambique, Antarctica... Thesecards will be in the Deep Dive expansion pack offered to the backers !

🔺 Le 8e palier a été franchi et il ajoute un livret historique qui présentera les cartes Mission de manière chronologique avec le contexte historique de chaque événement. Vous pourrez apprécier l'histoire de la Guerre Froide au travers des cartes Mission de DEFCON 1.
🔺 Le 9e palier a aussi été franchi : il propose un mini plateau Ressources illustré qui permet de disposer les cubes R&D, les barils de pétrole et les barils d'uranium de manière centralisée et bien visible.
🔺 L'objectif social sur BGG est presque atteint avec 246 fans. Il ne manque que 4 fans pour obtenir un ajout de 5 cartes Mission dans le Pack d'extension Deep Dive, gratuit pour les souscripteurs.
🔺 Enfin, une version publique, et gratuite, de DEFCON 1 est disponible sur Tabletopia. Il vous suffit de créer un compte, gratuit lui aussi pour y jouer. Préférez Steam à un navigateur pour y jouer.

Le 7e palier a été franchi et il ajoute 5 nouvelles cartes Mission "Rêves de Gloire", généralement en rapport avec la possession d'influence et 5 cartes Objectif, qui sont un peu plus atypiques que les autres ce qui porte le nombre de carte à 200 cartes !
L'objectif social sur BGG avance bien avec 202 fans. Encore 48 fans pour obtenir un ajout de 5 cartes Mission dans le Pack d'extension Deep Dive, gratuit pour les souscripteurs.
Vous nous l'avez demandé, nous l'avons fait : une version PROVISOIRE des règles françaises va être disponible dans les prochaines heures en téléchargement sur la page KS. PROVISOIRE car DEFCON 1 est quasiment développé mais pas complétement, que la rédaction est correcte mais loin du résultat recherché et qu'enfin, la mise en page est à l'état d'ébauche.
Enfin, nous vous dévoilons un premier Add-On, modeste, certes, mais très utile dans DEFCON 1 : des protège-cartes. Nous les aimons bien car ils sont mats et c'est bien pratique pour éviter les reflets. Cet Add-On pourra probablement aider à franchir plus facilement les prochains paliers.

C'est tout, mais ce n'est déjà pas si mal, pour aujourd'hui !
The 7th stretch goal has been broken, 5 new Mission cards have been added, "Dreams of Glory", overall with respect to having influence on the map, 5 new Objective cards that are more specific than the base game ones. All in all you now have 200 cards to play!
The social SG on BGGis growing: we have 202 fans. We need 48 fans more to add 5 new Mission cards in the Deep Dive expansion pack, which is free to the backers.
We have been asked for a DRAFT version of the rulebook: it will be downloadable in French on the KS page, in the next few hours, the English one is being proofed and wil come soon. This is a DRAFT as DEFCON 1 is almost complete but there will be some polish, the writing is accurate but far from the final result we want and the layout is still a draft copy.
Finally, we unveiled an Add-On, which will be very usefull in DEFCON 1: sleeves. They are matte and we love them as they avoid reflections. This Add-On may help us break the next SGs faster.

Bonjour,
Le 6e palier a été franchi et il améliore chacun des 5 plateaux Bloc en doublant leur épaisseur. En plus d'être élégant, cela assure que vos cubes R&D, vos ressources et vos unités spéciales restent bien en place durant la partie. Votre confort de jeu s'en trouve amélioré !
La vague DEFCON 4 a été dévoilée et vous remarquez que le premier palier est peu particulier. Il s'agit d'un palier social : l'objectif est d'atteindre un nombre de 250 fans sur la page DEFCON 1 qui se trouve sur le site de référence américain Board Game Geek. Au moment de la publication de cette actualité, la page compte 72 fans. Il en manque donc 178 et vous êtes 376... Ce challenge ne devrait être qu'une formalité !
Si vous vous n'êtes pas connecté ou que vous n'avez pas de compte, une fenêtre va s'ouvrir afin de vous connecter ou de créer un compte sur BGG, le cas échéant.
Ce palier ajoute 5 cartes au Pack d'extensions Deep Dive et l'objectif, vous l'aurez compris, est de donner plus de visibilité à DEFCON 1 outre-atlantique afin d'accélérer le rythme de la campagne.
